The Code Opens New Creative Hub “The Writer Room”

Detroit, MI (October 30th, 2017) — The Code announces the opening of its new creative hub, dubbed “The Writer Room”. The space’s design is inspired by a cozy living room environment, rich with deep reds and dark woods creating the perfect balance of home and work.

“I really wanted to create a room designed for the writing process. We have every type of pencil, markers, sharpies, you name it, to allow our creatives to express themselves however they feel comfortable. Everyone who has worked here says they’ve felt so peaceful during their session.” Ashley Rose, CEO and Co-Founder of The Code.

There are several writing and recording setups within the room. Allowing artists and writers to create at will, regardless of where they’re in the room. At some point in every session everyone makes their way to the Wurlitzer Piano the Company has in the vocal booth. Rumor has it, the piano was previously owned by Stevie Wonder.

“We understand the importance of staying innovative when it comes to the needs of creatives. We identified that separating the formal recording studio for a more natural environment created better collaboration. The conversations that took place lead to better songs.” Warren “LACK OF FLAWS” Griffin, Jr , Co-Founder.

Sessions are currently invite only. There is no timeline on when the room will become open to the public.
